Futures Lab: Governance - Choose your own Adventure

Governance takes many forms and happens in many spaces. From boardrooms to city council meetings to international bodies.

In this session, we will explore the interconnectivity of decisions in these three different spaces and track the impacts these decisions have on one another in a live dramatisation of a ‘choose your own adventure story. Over the 90 minutes we will showcase a range of decision-making models that can be used in these spaces, invite experts to reflect on the decisions, and share the possible ‘sliding door’ moments that exist when we follow one path rather than another. 

Our vision for a series of new governance modes is based on a need to

• build awareness of the wider consequences of decisions on a range of stakeholders over a range of time horizons
• embed inclusivity in the process of making decisions and,
• puts life at the centre of the process.
